This release should fix a compatibility problem with the latest release version of calibre and KFX files. This release DOES NOT handle Kindle for Mac/PC 1.25 and later. This release DOES NOT work w. I urge people to read the FAQs. But to cover the most common: Use ADE 2.0.1 to be sure not to get the new DRM scheme that these tools can't handle. Use Kindle for Mac/PC 1.24 or earlier, the tools don't currently work with 1.25 or later. Do remember to unzip the downloaded archive to get the plugin. You can't load the whole archive into calibre. This release release DOES DROP SUPPORT for the stand-alone DeDRM apps. Only the calibre plugins are now included. (& the separate python scripts). And hopefully a 64-bit Mac OS application that now works from the release download, and doesn't need an executable bit setting, and doesn't have an unnecessary splash screen. Nov 29, 2018. Aug 22, 2019 Download Obok DeDRM Plugin v6.5.4 Open Calibre, click 'Preferences' - 'Plugins'. As this plugin is not yet collected by Calibre's plugin library, we can only manually install it. Therefore, we need to click 'Load plugin from file', and choose the obokplugin.zip you just downloaded from the blue button above.

This release DOES NOT work with the latest calibre 5.x that requires Python 3 for plugins.
This release adds full support for the new .kinf2018 key files and the new KFX encryption. Many thanks to Apprentice Sakuya for their work on this.
This means that this release now works with version 1.26 and earlier of Kindle for PC and Kindle for Mac. Books which require the later versions of Kindle for PC/Mac will not be able to be decrypted at this time.
A script to remove DRM from B&N PDFs has been included but not integrated into the plugin, nor tested.

Thanks to work by several people, the DeDRM calibre plugin can decrypt KFX format ebooks from Amazon as long as they are downloaded with Kindle for Mac/PC prior to version 1.27.
Install the KFX Input plugin to automatically locate all of the files that make up a KFX format book and gather them into a KFX-ZIP. After the DeDRM plugin removes the DRM, then the KFX Input plugin will package it into a single KFX file.
